Pre Primary is a well designed programme for tiny tots of age 3+ based on the planning of exciting, engaging and fun learning experiences and activities for children. Learning is done through Jolly Phonics programme: Jolly Phonics, teaches children to read and write English language through systematic teaching of phonics, grammar, spelling and punctuation involving multi-sensory approach with fun actions, stories and songs.
The early year 3 and 4 follow a play way method where a child learns to observe and attempt on his own with the teacher being the facilitator, patiently guiding the child and letting the child to learn by experiencing it repeatedly.

The primary curriculum aims to provide a broad learning experience and encourages a rich variety of approaches of teaching and learning that cater for the different needs of individual children. The primary curriculum is designed to nurture the child in all dimensions of his or her life—spiritual, moral, cognitive, emotional, imaginative, aesthetic, social and physical.
It aims at activity based joyful learning where the child learns to solve problems effectively under the guidance of teachers. Many enrichment and age appropriate activities including trips are offered to children to upgrade their knowledge and have an experience of the outside world.
Music, arts, dance and public speaking are important components of the programme. The Primary school programme aims that all students should have a well rounded development of our students.

Senior School is important because the experience of this stage of education plays an important role in shaping the future of students as citizens of the society. At SPVD we try to provide all-round experience so that each student can be an active participant in their learning: develop resilience, confidence and maturity before stepping out in the world.
The methodology of assessment is through lab experiments, projects, activities, research, presentation and meaningful reviews and feedback. We provide equal opportunity to the individuals to identify their key areas of strength and weakness. Term wise examinations along with unit test are conducted to ensure preparedness of students to face academic challenges.
The school conducts various field trips educational trips, workshops, guest lectures, leadership training through student council and interaction of the learners with various experts from different fields to make learning more dynamic, meaningful and relevant for them.

Co-Curricular activities play an important role in the school and reflect the diverse interests of student body.
